Story
We will be working in partnership with Cricket without Boundaries and FGM charity 28 too many, Cricket Kenya and the Maasai Cricket Warriors. The project focuses its work on addressing the serious problem of FGM amongst the Maasai community where 3 in 4 girls are currently cut.
Moving away from the usual A,B and C Messages the team focus on B.A.T instead,
B- Break the silence and speak about FGM
A- Advocate for change
T- Together we can stop FGM.
We are looking forward to be working alongside other charities in this amazing opportunity to help battle against 2000 years of cultural practise and encountering tough stories of those who have been effected by the practice along the way.
We will be also working with Cricket without Boundaries on our return from Kenya to set up a similar project here in Old Trafford with FGM in this area being High.
Please support us in this project by donating and helping to support the great work we will all be doing both in Kenya and Old Trafford.
