Story

A little about us:
After setting out on our journey to start a family in July 2010, we went on toexperience 4 miscarriages before we were blessed with our precious baby boy in April 2014, and our beautiful baby girl in July 2016.

Repeated losses were absolutelyheartbreaking to endure and there was very little evidenced-based supportavailable to us, when all our 'standard' NHS recurrent miscarriage tests cameback clear.

After our fourth loss, we were lucky enough to hear about the clinic being run by Prof Quenby and her team at the University of Warwick and conceived our take-home baby very soon afterwards following their prescribed treatment plan. We revisited this wonderful team again when we decided we would try for another baby, and were very lucky to conceive straight away afterwards.

We are raising money in memory of our four lost little lives.

Why we are raising money for Siobhan Quenby's recrurrentmiscarriage research?

Prof Quenby and her team atUHCW and Warwick Medical School are dedicating their work to finding out why some couples experience infertility and recurrent miscarriage, and what can be doneto help them. The team and their ground-breaking work have already helped a number of couples to conceive and give birth to healthy babies. Further funding could help this important work continue and bring more families their happily ever afters.
