Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you now know my Father passed away just before Christmas. I will always remember the day he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and was given 3 months to live. Due to his strength and determination and in no small way the support, care and kindness shown by the nurses at Beaumond House he managed to extend that 3 months to almost 12. 

He was an inspiration to me in so many ways and I hope, that by helping Beaumond House to continue to provide their invaluable service, other families will find a ray of light in their darkest hour.

I am certainly no Mo Farah with the furthest I have managed to run before 5k. So with nearly 50 years on the clock I thought double that was a suitable milestone to aim for.
