Story
This page has been set up for people to donate money and support ' Team A&E ' in completing Mission Unbreakable in October 2016.
I am a member of South Western Ambulance Services foundation Trust based in North Devon.
I have advanced prostate cancer which is now secondary in my spine and both hips and is being treated with chemotherapy for the next few weeks/months. I now want to take on this personal challenge (despite being advised not to) as part of my bucket list.
I have a great team of colleagues from North Devon District Hospital A&E department, Medical Assessment Unit, ambulance staff and family and friends who are going to take up the challenge and support me to complete it as a team.
The challenge is a 10k assault course which has been set up by the Royal Marines from nearby RMB Chivenor and involves a lot of mud, fire and water including a deep river crossing (I can't swim) ! Tunnels full of water, rope climbing, a zip wire, a shooting range plus a few surprises thrown in too !!
Please SHARE our 'Just Giving' page and feel free to donate ... even if it is just £1 .... if everyone SHARED and donated just £1 we would achieve our target and more in next to no time at all . Thank you x
A very big THANK YOU to those of you that have donated so far.
