You may have heard the sad news that Keith Bullock (Keith the Porter) passed away on 4th April this year having faced a long battle with cancer. Keith contracted cancer in his leg in 2008 but despite numerous bouts of chemotherapy and an amputation, the cancer never fully cleared.

We can all remember many great times spent with Keith and in particular how he would always give you a friendly welcome (especially good if it was your first day at college!) He was a brilliant porter and his passing leaves a big hole in the Plodge.

Having been contacted by several past students expressing their sadness, a few of the year reps decided raising money for a memorial bench in college would be a fitting tribute. This has the support of Keith's wife Heather and Downing.
