I realise I'm in danger of accusations of hypocrisy (or even masochism) but I've been tempted into another knee-threatening challenge.

In early June 50 of us are attempting the Spanish three peaks, Los Tres Picos, three mountains in the Sierra Nevada all around 3500m, in three days.

The EY Foundation has had a great 1st year, making a real difference to the lives of many young people. Since the inaugural challenge, the Sahara trek that many of you were generous to sponsor me and others for, the EYF team have launched some hugely successful programmes.
