A friend of mine lost her son in 2007 to a rare form of cancer that affects teenagers. Since then Amanda Dunkerton has be fund raising.

I first knew of robs arttt 4 years ago when I met Amanda (Robs mum). I was astonished by how much Amanda had achieved out of such pain and tragic circumstances after the loss of her son. After reading and being told of Robs journey, it was clear to me where Rob's strength and determination came from. A loss of a child is a pain no parent should feel. 

Robs arttt was set up by Rob himself and Amanda. Back in 2007 doctors knew very little. Now thanks to Robs sacrifice and Amanda's determination this is no longer the case. Robs arttt donations fund critical laboratory testing. Although there is much more work to be done, the world is now far more knowledgeable than it was 9 years ago. 

Heaven forbid I was ever to be in a similar place, I honestly don't think I would have the strength Amanda has shown. Amanda is a remarkable woman and Rob would be so very proud. Our skydive has been inspired by Amanda & Rob for a better future, and hope that one day we can stop anyone else having to go through this. Wish us luck!!
