Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I lost my beloved dad to the evil and misunderstood disease they call 'depression and anxiety'. I would love to help our local mental health charity to raise money and awareness of their services, to help other sufferers and their families to get the right support and help needed and to hopefully spare other families of the heartache we have been through. My dad was a strong, clever and proud man, he was so loved and respected always by everyone that knew him. Depression ruined his life and I want to try and prevent it from ruining anyone else's. Mental illness can affect anyone, at anytime, for many different reasons. Unfortunately, no one is immune. With the help of SWR Mind many people are able to get through the darkest days and see light at the end of that tunnel and get the support needed. Please help me to raise money and help loved ones in our local area to access the support they need and deserve to get better, stay alive and cope.
