We met 10 years ago when our girls started nursery together and have often talked about our mutual longing to accomplish some big achievement. Whilst the prospect of leaving behind our  5 kids. 4 pets. 2 husbands and 2 jobs for a few days in the sun seemed quite appealing the reality of this trek couldn't be further from the truth  ...  45 km of rough terrain, searing heat, hills and valleys in just 3 days is  daunting to say the least. But it's all for a fantastic cause and we are determined to finish it. 

Magen David Adom is Israel's medical emergency and ambulance service. It's lifesaving work, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year is run entirely on donations from around the world and that's where we come in.

With the current situation in Israel and the constant need for emergency medical care we couldn't think of a more worthy charity to fundraise for.
