Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know, I have been running marathons at the rate of at least one every year for the last ten years, seeking a repeat of the elusive 'sub-4' from my youth, alas to no avail. Well, I say no avail but I'm 3 1/2 stone lighter than I was 10 years ago and a lot healthier. This will be the 15th marathon I've completed.
As this year is The RIAS' Year of Architecture 2016, I have accepted its invitation to raise funds for the Architects' Benevolent Society, which helps those who haven't come through the very challenging times we have recently faced with their careers intact. There, but for the grace of ...???, go I.
In all honesty, I am so over this marathon training thing that I am woefully unprepared for this year, so help me through those 26.2 long miles on Sunday 29 May by donating anything you feel that you want to give.
One last thing - please do not feel pressurised or obliged to donate. Anything that you can afford will be greatly appreciated.
With thanks,
Kelvin.
