During my nursing  career I have had the privilege of caring for amazing and inspiring individuals. From loosing my own dear mother to cancer I have personal experience  of the potential devastation a cancer diagnosis can ensue. 

Through my loss and nursing career I have a strong passion and drive to make patients and loved ones cancer journey more bearable.

I work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Jersey Oncology/Haematology department, I set up the charity Friends of Jersey Oncology (FOJO) in June 2012 to assist with the purchasing of non States funded equipment and services. 

This small charity has gained real momentum over the last 4 years and has been recognised as making a positive impact on cancer care in Jersey. Unfortunately we are all in some way affected by cancer. However its reassuring to know survival rates are improving. 

Chloe and myself celebrate two milestones this year 18 & 40. We both wanted to challenge ourselves and raise monies for a charity that is very close to both our hearts. I will be climbing the Atlas Mountains the day I turn 40!!! What an achievement and great way to enter my 40th years.
