Story

My best friend's dad, Pete Belsher, sadly died on 31st July 2014 after a brave 4 year battle with Prostate cancer.  Everyone was devastated that such an active, fun loving and all round good man should be taken from us aged just 65.

I wanted to do something apart from offer my unending support to the Belsher family to help either prevent other families going through such a devastating loss or support those that are already fighting.

So, I am proudly going to shout Geronimo! for Pete and do a sky dive on 25th October!  I will be raising money for The Chestnut Appeal which is a local charity dedicated to increasing awareness of Prostate cancer and supporting the loved ones and families who are coming to terms with this cruel disease.  Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK and more than 40,000 new cases are diagnosed every year.

If by taking a few minutes to read this and sponsor me means that you become aware, check yourself out (male friends) or make sure your nearest and dearest are ok, then I'm on the right track!

Oh, did I mention that I'm not really that great at heights :o)

On behalf of Pat, Julie, Tracey and Chris, a heartfelt THANK YOU for your support and donations.
