Story
In April 2016, I decided to add to my rescue family and saw a little dog called Honey on the Romanian Rescue Appeal site. Honey was rescued from a "KILL" shelter (the name says it all!!) in Jan 2016 and taken to a place of safety with other lucky dogs. I fell in love with her picture and wanted to give her a loving forever home. Which I was able to do after various checks etc.
I wanted to give back to the charity for letting me adopt Honey. Funds are always needed to assist them, building shelters to safely house stray animals, whilst a forever home is found for them. Stepping into rescue animals in desperate and immediate danger and offering them a safe environment and medical care. All the donations go towards the dogs care, no one is employed in the UK, all the charity workers are volunteers..
So I am abseiling 100 meters down the Spinnaker at Portsmouth on 13th August at 5pm.. to raise much needed funds ..
You cant change the world by saving one animal, but by saving one animal you can change their world!
