On the 27th of June, me and 15 friends are taking part in a Team Golf Challenge that will see us attempt to tackle 99 Holes of Golf over some of the toughest golf courses in/around St. Andrews.

Starting at Crail around 0345am, we will visit Anstruther en-route to our final rounds on the Kittocks and Torrance Courses at St. Andrews Bay.

All going well, we'll be finished around 10pm (and in need of a cold foot bath).

The charity we are fund raising for is very close to the heart of one of my fellow competitors, Alan Young.

Alan lost him mum Margo some time ago and has set about setting up a foundation in her name.

The aim of the Margo Young Foundation is to raise money for cancer patients and their families. The charity will initially focus on funding respite support and bereavement counselling. The MYF is currently colloborating with Marie Curie Hospice Glasgow and the Stephen Gallacher Foundation.

I hope you will be able to find some spare money to assist in our support of this wonderful cause.
