Event: Birmingham Half Marathon, on 16 October 2016

Story

Pete Smith, a regular member of the congregation at St Michael and All Angels in Tettenhall, was seriously injured in a motorbike accident on the M5 that has left him in hospital since early July fighting for his life. He is now on the mend although the incident has been left with life changing injuries. Also without any regular income Pete's family face an uncertain financial situation in the coming months.

Therefore with Pete's family's situation in mind, Kevin Bruerton, a friend and member of the congregation at St Michael and All Angels has decided to run the Birmingham Half Marathon on 16th October to support the Church's Hardship fund.
This fund is used by the Vicar for such deserving causes. You are encouraged to support this fund and indirectly Pete Smith and his family by sponsoring Kevin here
