Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 30 May 2016 Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace fans are setting aside their mutual disdain and uniting to raise money to support young people whose lives can be improved through sport.
We have arranged a football match between the fans at the Amex stadium, home of the Albion, on Monday 30 May 2016.
Palace will have Andy Johnson, who scored a hat-trick for them against the Albion, in their line up. We hope to have a couple of ex-players in our midst too.
I've been fortunate enough to be selected. I'm fully aware that Andy Johnson and co are nervous at the thought of playing against the Manchester Accountants Sunday League left back of the year (1985/6......Division 3), who, at the tender age of 54, will be strapping on the boots and running out of breath within the first two minutes of entering the pitch.
If you could offer some support for this worthy cause, which has raised so much since the tragedy of Robert's death for projects close to the hearts of Albion and Palace fans that would be fantastic.
Even if it's only a pound or two, every little helps.
