Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I love sharks. Unfortunately not everyone shares my opinion and many see them as evil monsters that only live to eat people. Obviously this couldn't be further from the truth. In 2015 there were 98 "unprovoked" attacks resulting in 6 deaths (ISAF). Does that really suggest the sea is full of Man eating machines? No. It really doesn't. The truth is there are more human deaths caused by our own idiotic behaviour.

It is estimated that around 100 000 000 sharks are killed a year. Some species populations have decreased by 99%.

This is why I feel I have to do something and by supporting the Shark Trust I know every penny I raise will be put to good use. Be it supporting research or campaigns aimed at legislation changes.

This is incredibly important to me and all support will be immensely appreciated! I have never ran in anything, well except maybe sports day, and I have never trained for anything like this. I know that it will be hard but if I can make a small difference to this small but incredibly important charity then that's a win in my books!

Thank you for your time and support!
