Story

In August 2015 we sadly lost the most wonderful friend, Coxy.

Coxy and I shared so many laughs together during our time at Sackville School, especially during sixth form when he practically became my personal tutor in Economics!  But our best times were spent together at the University of Reading.  I could not have wished for a better friend to share so many good times, bad times, drunk times etc. etc. with during our time at University.  Reading will hold a close place in my heart, even more so now and I will be thinking of all our great times together there as I run this Half Marathon.

Coxy was a great cricketer, playing for both the University team and Edenbridge Cricket Club.  In his memory, Team Coxy are fundraising to rebuild the pavilion at Edenbridge CC, which will be named the Matt Coxy Pavilion.  Please see our team page for more information.

An incredible amount has already been raised towards this, however there is still a long road ahead.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated.  Training is well underway and the run is on April 3rd.
