Story

The Leamington Neurological Rehabilitation Centre Appeal was launched in September 2012 and aims to raise £235,000.

The Centre was launched at the hospital nearly twenty years ago with the aim of delivering high quality rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries. A brain injury can be sustained in a number of ways ranging from a simple fall, a road accident, a stroke or tumour. Many of the patients require extensive rehabilitation to overcome and/or manage the impact of their injury and often reside at the Centre for many months.

The Centre is proud to have just been recognised as one of only ten National Centres of Excellence in the country and always strive to provide the highest level of care available. Patients come to the Centre from all across the country, however the Centre now needs to be developed to reflect the growing need for capacity as well as facilities to reflect the excellent service provided.

Funds raised will go towards enhancing the environment within the Centre, making it more homely to patients, who often spend many months there and see it as a 'home away from home', as well as to providing state of the art facilities and therapies.

So please dig deep and donate now.
