Laing O’Rourke & CHt Staff at BRI Redevelopment Project in Bristol are pleased to announce they are fundraising and assisting Creative Youth Network (CYN) achieve their dream of acquiring Demountable Tiered Seating in their Auditorium/Main Performance Space in The Station. Your support to acquire the Tiered Seating will assist CYN with their programme of activities to connect to a wider range of vulnerable young people and engage them with the work of the charity. In addition, the enhancement of seating arrangements within the performance space created by the Tiered seating will provide better disabled access and much needed space in the front area for disabled youths. In particular, your support to acquire the Tiered seating will assist with: 1. Removing the barriers that prevent the most vulnerable young people in Bristol accessing the outreach programme of courses and events. 2. Reaching 800 young people as participants and new audience members through the programme at The Station. 3. Enable 100 young people to develop skills and creative interests that will improve their life-chances, in future employment, education and social integration. 4. Improving accessibility of CYN events, productions and gigs for young audiences with visual, hearing or physical impairments. Our target is to raise the equivalent of £4000 in cash, materials and services for CYN to achieve this aim. Creative youth network’s mission is to inspire every young person to do more than they ever thought possible. CYN encourage young people to challenge the barriers they face by engaging with the arts. CYN aim high by work with world class artist and high quality youth workers to inspire, challenge, encourage & support young people.
