In memory of Raymond Banning
We help performing artists and creators to beat work-related health problems

Story

In May 2010 my late husband Concert Pianist and Professor of Piano (Trinity College of Music, London) Raymond Banning was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia, also known as Pick's Disease for which there is no treatment and no cure. Sadly Raymond died on December 2nd 2012 aged 60.

During Raymond's long and difficult illness I fought many battles with various authorities in order for Raymond to have the help, care and support he needed at home with us surrounded by his beloved music.

BAPAM has been one of several charities for Musicians that helped and supported us though this and has provided great support for me both during and since Raymond's illness which understandably had a huge impact on my own health.

BAPAM does amazing work to help and support musicians in many different circumstances so they are one of my chosen charities for this very special concert celebrating Raymond's life.
