Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi I watched my mum do sober October and told her off when she found it hard and moaned as it was only a month, she said I would find giving up goodies hard for a month I said it would be easy!! So I have decided to do no nibbles November and give up chocolate, sweets and crisps and try raise money for the support group I go to. I have a neurological condition called Tourettes plus which causes me involuntary vocal and physical tics.  I am one of the 10% who have this complex with corpolalia (obscene words) corpraxia (obscene gestures) palilalia (repeating the last word or sentence I say) echolalia (repeating the last word or sentence you say) the plus is Adhd and OCD. I also have asd traits which makes my daily life pretty hard going. Some times my tics are really painful and sometimes they are really funny,  but most of the time they are difficult to cope with especially when I have a tic fit and can't control my body . I want to raise awareness of TS as people always make fun of it and don't realise that living with this is no laughing matter. One day I would like to stop suppressing my tics and just be me,  the support group helps so I would like to raise funds for them. Thank you Tyler  Moffat
