I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for Assist which is an excellent Sheffield based charity who help asylum seekers in the area. There are many asylum seekers in Sheffield, and many have few friends or relatives to help. Assist help them in many practical ways to find accommodation, advice and support in their every day lives. They are a vital help to many who may be lost and bewildered in this country, and need guidance on how to apply for asylum, and to navigate a complex system. They are staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers and provide a service that is second to none. I have had some experience of the organisation in the last year,  and have been so impressed with all that they do.

Many thanks for your support for Assist, and for the encouragement it will give me when I realise that we have done the bicycle ride in the wrong direction against the prevailing winds!

Let's hope there are not too many punctures!!

Wish me and my brother luck xx
