Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We're raising money for HSI UK who work tirelessly to end the suffering of innocent animals.

Ever year in China, the Yulin Dog Meat Festival goes ahead, where thousands of terrified dogs are crammed into tiny cages, beaten to death or boiled alive. This year HSI rescued hundreds of these creatures from the most inhumane fate imaginable.

These animals deserve lives free from exploitation and torture, so any donation you can make, no matter how big or small will be hugely appreciated.

Running has never been our strong point, and 13 miles will, no doubt, see us hobbling around for days afterwards. It's a small price to pay though, when the money raised will go towards the continued campaigning to end the festival for good.
