We are fundraising to help and raise awareness of the charity Mummy's Star which is the only charity in the UK that supports women with cancer through pregnancy and beyond.

In February our much loved friend Sarah was diagnosed with cancer when she was 18 weeks pregnant.  

Sarah had previously suffered severe pain and sickness but these were seen as pregnancy related.

Sarah lost her baby and 7 days after diagnosis passed away leaving her husband and family heart broken.

Mummy's Star is a charity that has been set upto support  'mum's and mum's to be' like Sarah during this very difficult time.  It also offers support to their families. 

In December Sarah would have turned 34 and we wanted to do something positive to mark the occasion so we have decided to organise a coffee morning to include a silent auction, raffle, tombola and of course cakes.  All money raised will be donated to Mummy's Star so that they can continue to support women like Sarah and their families.
