Fundraising for Dogs Trust Ireland
Story
Hi All,
So this year I will be doing my first ever mini marathon in aid of Dogs Trust, Ireland. Dogs Trust is a charity very close to my heart who work tirelessly to ensure loving forever homes for all the dogs in their care. They will NEVER euthanise a healthy dog.. If this dog can't find a home, they will give him all the care and love he deserves for the rest of his life in their centre.
To put this briefly, I'm not asking you to sponsor me for doing this marathon...
I'm asking you to donate any amount of money you can spare whether is is 1 euro or 10 euro, to these wonderful dogs in Dogs Trust.
These dogs have been bred, abused, malnourished, unloved and then dumped on Dogs Trusts doorstep.. Some of these dogs have never even had a HOME. Most, have been taken in from dog pounds death row to be given a second chance..
In Dogs Trust, they are loved. They get fed, walked, played with and even cuddled. Their carers do everything in their power to find them a loving and safe forever home with a family to call their own. Without their work, these dogs would suffer a horrific and very short life span..
So don't sponsor me... because whether it's a 3 hour or a 10 hour walk, it'll never compare to the horrors and pain these beautiful dogs have had to endure by the hands of us humans. :(
Donate to the dogs who, thanks to you will get:
*Full Bellies
*Lots of fun toys to play with
*Beds, blankets and teddys to comfort them when they are sad, scared and lonely.
*Walkies and one to one play time and cuddles with their carers.
*And most importantly, the hope of a home to live the rest of their lives in.
