Migdal Emunah is a charity that helps victims of sexual abuse heal. Mental health is an issue people overlook. How much more so sexual abuse? Noone wants to believe it happens but it does. It can happen to anyone- jewish, not jewish - there is no specification. 

I am passionate about talking about mental health and the importance of not shying away from it. With abuse comes all sorts of mental health problems. PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) is a debilitating condition which many victims suffer from post abuse. 

Abuse is a tragic trauma no child needs to endure, migdal helps those that unfortunately experienced such trauma and I for one want to see this charity flourish.

So...since running to me is like peanuts to a kid with a peanut allergy i thought what other forms of suffering can I afflict on myself and poof. Social media, my fave addiction came to mind.

I will not be using it for TWO WEEKS from the first March till 14th March
