English Springer Spaniel Welfare is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation formed in 1990. It is run by volunteers who have many years experience within the breed, both in working and showing these wonderful dogs.
         

 Their aims and objectives are to support the prevention of maltreatment and cruelty to English Springer Spaniels and in particular to encourage responsible ownership. They find suitable homes for Springers who's owners are unable to re home them themselves, they give advice to ESS owners having problems coping with their dogs, they raise funds through donations, subscriptions and fund raising events to cover their costs, and they encourage responsible practices in the breeding of the ESS.

Torbridge Veterinary Hospital have worked with the North Devon branch of this charity for many years. The charity works tirelessly with many dogs, improving their lives on a daily basis and it is a pleasure to support them with this charity event.

The event will be taking place here at Torbridge Vet Hospital in the car park, from 9am Friday September the 16th, to 9am Saturday the 17th. We will be under some shelter (thanks to the Great British weather!) and there will be tea, cakes and fun games for everyone to join in with. We look forward to seeing you all there to have a giggle and support a great cause!
