Story
This year, so far, has been full of change and uncertainty. Change on such scale has been unsettling for the most stable and secure of us. But for many young women who are experiencing great personal uncertainty, because they are struggling to find work or are trapped in a low paid insecure job, the events of recent months can feel more isolating than ever.
There are nearly 400,000 young women in the UK at the moment aged 16-24 who are currently not in education, training or employment, many of whom are struggling to afford basic items such as clothes, housing or food.
It shouldn't be this way.
Please sponsor me today, a donation of whatever you feel you can afford will make a real difference to the Young Women's Trust and the young women we support. It will help pay for practical coaching sessions to help individual young women to build their self-esteem, identify their strengths and take practical steps to find work. And, it will help pay for research and campaigns so we can advocate on behalf of all young women, so they all have an equal opportunity to work.
