Laura has been a trustee for Refugee Youth Project since 2005. I focus on our project providing support to young Bhutanese refugees in camps in Nepal, where we do everything from helping with schoolwork to getting kids involved in computer classes, drama, dance and film projects. We also provide basic materials such as school uniforms and soaps for the most vulnerable young children, many of whom live without their parents. We are a small, volunteer-led organisation and the bulk of our resources go directly to supporting the young people who we work with. Instead of wedding presents for ourselves, we would welcome any contributions to the work of this charity. Much more important!
