We fund medical research to aid diagnosis & treatment

Story

My Aunts' (my mums sister) partner Andy inspired us after he completed the Thames Path Challenge. We have undertaken various Charity challenges in the past, usually for cancer. But this time Mum and I decided to complete a Challenge in aid of a charity close to our hearts 'The Marfan Trust' (As we both have the condition).

I'll also wanted to do this in memory of a special friend Cassie who had the condition and died 2 years ago. She was an amazing person and I wanted to do it for her but also all the people that have to live with condition everyday.

Somehow I managed to persuade mum to sign up for the full island rather than the half island challenge. Thats means we will be walking 65 miles!!! We will try our best and any donations you can give will help to keep us going!
