We raise awareness and funds to save lives and help people with cancer

Story

Dear All,

Most of you will know that I was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer on New Years Eve, after an immediate operation and a difficult emotional time along with several C.T. scans and bone scans I was given the all clear in mid February (what a relief !) I was lucky I did not need Chemotherapy nor Radiotherapy because I found a lump got it checked out and the surgeons caught the tumor early.

John Hartson ex footballer with Celtic, West Ham, Arsenal and capped over 50 time for Wales found a lump and choose to ignore it for nearly 4 years, in this time the cancer spread from his testicles, to his lungs and to his brain, only after collapsing and rushed to hospital did he know of his fate, John needed Radiotherapy and over 60 bouts of Chemotherapy, he lost nearly 100 pounds in weight !

John felt lucky to be alive and set up his Foundation which makes young men like me aware of this disease, raising money to assist those living and dealing with cancer, that`s why I`m challenging Ben Nevis, Britian`s tallest mountain October 15th 2016.

If you want to see what the charity does and how it spends the money raised go to www.johnhartsonfoundation.com

Thank you.
