On Monday 11 may our beautiful little caterpillar winter scarlett Hutchinson was called up to heaven after only 5 weeks and 4 short days in our arms. After i had the managed to bring myself to write my sad story in a group I was in on Facebook a very kind lady offered some lovely words and asked me to look at a charity called remember my baby, I had never heard of them before, I looked on there page and found they offer an amazing service were a local volunteer photographer will come out and take some remembrance photos of your beautiful sleeping angel, they then edit these photos and put them on a disc/memory stick so you have these memories forever if you want to look back on them. These people offer there time at no cost at all the to grieving parents. The hospital had also never heard of the charity so I asked the photographer lyn who photographed our beautiful winter if she could leave some information at the hospital to help other parents through their said journey also. Although the experience was hard and painful I am so happy I had the opportunity to have those last photos of winter and of pictures with my angel too. I contacted remember my baby for the first time at 6am on 13th may and by 8.30am everything was arranged, the speed and compassion they dealt with my enquiry was something that I thought was lovely. I wanted to do this page as they are still a small charity and are still trying to get the word out about the service they offer, I would love to give something back to them and thought as a lot of people on my Facebook and various groups I'm in are so far away but have still expressed there desire at wanting to do something that I would start this page and then anyone who is unable to attend to say goodbye to my angel are able to give to this charity and them a much needed helping hand so they are still able to provide this service for families going through such heartache. Im not asking you to empty you bank accounts, just to look into your heart and think how this charity is helping people and then maybe offer a small token to help them to continue to do so.
Thank you so much to every person that contributes towards this and I know winter will be thanking you too.
