Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Outlaw Ironman challenge takes place in Nottingham on the 24th July.

2.4 mile swim

112 mile bike ride

26.2 mile run

I'm raising for a little girl called Kitty at my Daughters school. She has chronic kidney disease for which, at present there is no cure.

NeST is the Nephrotic Syndrome Trust. They carry out research into this disease and look for ways to early diagnose kids and adults as this will give them a better chance to treat the disease.

Currently there is no government funding for NeST and with some high profile sporting figures have suffered from this disease, such as the late great Jonah Lomu and Andy Cole, it has the potential to strike anyone at any time.

Please support me in my efforts on the 24th July!

Nephrotic Syndrome (NS) affects approx 10,000 people in the UK, majority are children, with no known cause or cure. The current treatment is non-specific and highly toxic, with many potentially life-threatening complications. NeST funds Bristol Children's Hospital in researching NS to find a cure.
