Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've seen the impact that not being able to develop and build relationships has for people with disabilities like Asperger's Syndrome, autism and physical limitations.
The yard offers support and a safe environment for those individuals and families to build relationships and interact, something I know would have been a great benefit to my family had we known about the services available when a family member was diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
Having been at the yard it is truly a magical place and it inspired me to do something I've never done before - an adventure of my own. So I would ask that you believe in my 2016 adventure as I take on 10 individual events to raise funds to enable the yard to continue its good work and support its expansion through Scotland.
During 2016, I will be undertaking the following 'adventures':
1. January 2016 - Pure Gym Great Edinburgh Winter Run - 5km
2. May 2016 - Skinny Tweed - Road Cycle Sportive - 75km
3. May 2016 - EMF - 10km
4. June 2016 - Great Women's Run Glasgow - 10km
5. August 2016 - Tour of the Borders Road Cycle Sportive - 120km
6. August 2016 - (new) Forth Road Bridge 10km run
7. August 2016 - Highland Perthshire Challenge Road Cycle Sportive 160km
8. September 2016 - Pedal For Scotland - Big Belter - 180km

10. October 2016 - Great Scottish Run - 10km
