After recently visiting The Oasis Centre in Gorton, and seeing the amazing work they do with a community who has been neglected for too long, I felt compelled to help them, even if it's a small donation.

Their aim it to provide support for those who are getting back on their feet, offering them a place to talk, gain a variety of skills and give them the chance to establish themselves within society once more.  Please visit their website to see more.

As many of you probably know giving up booze for a whole month is going to be a task and a half for me, but it's nothing in comparison to the daily fight many people are faced with.

Even if you can only afford 50p, it's definitely a start!
