Our daughter Natalie is 21 years old & was born with profound disabilities which affects her everyday life. Ashmount Special School provided her with a first class education & provided support for the whole family..We often take for granted the opportunities our children are given during their formative years but when your child has a profound disability the type of school your child attends makes all the difference.. It enables your child to receive the support they need within a safe & inspiring environment

It is only when full time education comes to an end do you realise how much of a miss it is.

We continue to be grateful for the help & support we received during the 14 years that Natalie spent at Ashmount from 2000 -2014 & I have decided to do this Trek to not only provide me with an experience of a lifetime but to raise much needed funds for the present generation of Ashmount children.
