Story
Thank you so much for visiting our fundraising page.
This year, eight members of the Treasury Team are taking part in The Big Ride for Africa. We'll be cycling 275km from London to Belgium to help raise money for Lessons for Life; a charity who funds education projects in some of the toughest parts of the world. Every pound raised will help them to support some of the most vulnerable children in the world get to school.
Meet our team (pictured - from right to left):-
- Beatrijs Woltring: Our very own Marianne Vos (best Dutch cyclist ever, winning 2 Olympic gold medals)
- Matt Read: Prefers the motorbike over road bike but is going to give it a try, all for the good cause
- Nick Marchant (our leader and team captain): Been with us since inception (well, apart from the man flu last year)
- Doug Porter: Suffering from a knee injury but hopefully recovered in time
- Giancarlo Bruni: German/Italian cyclist. Started polishing his Bianchi already.
- Roeland Hooikammer: Will accept donations in every currency
- Sarah Baldwin: Cyclist from Down Under and a welcome female addition to the team
- Veselin Kamenov: BB-rated Bulgarian biker
All donations will be so gratefully received.
