Liberty has been involved in health work in rural villages across Nigeria for over a decade. Over 100,000 people in rural villages receiving free healthcare but with a mobile clinic we could do more.

Story

The purpose of this event is to raise money to purchase a Mobile Operating Theatre for eye surgeries.

A  big thank you to all those who contributed to the event last year.  We
were able to raise £23,000.  This leaves us with a further £57,000 to
meet our target.

Your donation can really help us smash this goal.

Remember:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your
details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone
or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money
directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%)
is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That
means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.

About the campaign

Liberty has been involved in health work in rural villages across Nigeria for over a decade. Over 100,000 people in rural villages receiving free healthcare but with a mobile clinic we could do more.

About the charity

Liberty is a charity registered under the New Covenant Church. We use the voluntary expertise of our many members to reach out to the poor and needy and those existing on subsistence level in many African villages. Liberty sets entire communities free body, mind and spirit using a 5 Fold Mission. To date we have built sixty village churches, primary schools, provided bursaries for education, established adult literacy classes, agriculture empowerment programmes, clean water and free healthcare in places where normally those without money to pay for these things have to go without. Through our modest work in Southern Nigeria we have seen whole communities changed however our vision is to reach the rest of Africa. Be part of the solution and support us in achieving this.
