I had the pleasure of teaching Chris Smith in his 5th year at school. He was a typical S5 boy with loads of chat, great sense of humour and that smile, even when he was going through treatment. I'm taking on this challenge to raise funds to try to find a cure for cancer which takes away so many people way too soon. Also as a personal challenge as I head ever closer to the next big 0 birthday and hopefully retirement !!
