Story
Helloooo there!
Thank you for visiting my Who Cares? Scotland fundraising page, soooo glad you’ve made it but don’t stop there ohhhh noooo …
Read my wee story below and at the end of it I hope you will be more than happy to make a contribution – whether it be 50p, £5, £10, or how ever much you can give - to help ensure that the valuable work of Who Cares? Scotland continues for a very long time to come.
I’m taking part in a hot! Hot! HOT!!! Firewalk for Who Cares? Scotland on Friday 18 May at Firhill training ground on Hope hill Road in Glasgow and ohhhh yes there will be firemen woo hoo :o)). I’m shorter than most of my work buddies ergo closer to the flames and my feet are toaty too which means I’ll have further than most to walk…Quite a scary prospect if truth be told and not just for me but for those of you who will be in the vicinity of my wee odorous feet (my Joe will vouch for that).
We’re only a small charity and with your valued contribution we can make sure that the voices of young people in care continue to be heard and that looked after young people have the life chances made available so they can reach their full potential. Our amazingly dedicated team of advocates speak on behalf of young people in care or support them to have the confidence to speak for themselves. We provide support and advice to young people while they are in care and when they move on to independent living. We rigorously campaign for improvements in care provision for young people to key decision makers. Who Cares? Scotland undertakes this crucial role in making sure that we as a society look after our most vulnerable young people to the best of our ability.
Every single penny raised really does count and is greatly appreciated and online donation amounts can be made anonymous. If you don’t like doing the online thing just give me a shout as I have sponsorship forms!
THANK YOU for your support :o) xx
