Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

During Hospice Care Week (3rd October) we are launching a "Sponsor A Patient Room" campaign- can you be a star and help? 🌟
Because we spend our funds directly on patient care, the past 15 years the patient rooms haven't been refurbished and they're in desperate need of some TLC!!!

We are launching the campaign to enable patients such as Andrew, from Bottesford (see main picture), to have a more comfortable, homely stay during their time at Lindsey Lodge Hospice in Scunthorpe.

Andrew, who has seven children, has a rare terminal illness and he’s gone from being a fit healthy engineer to being unable to work and at one point dropping under 8 stone.
“The care I receive at Lindsey Lodge is second-to-none,” said Andrew, who’s had the life-debilitating illness for 5 years.

“It would be great if everyone could join forces to update patient rooms,” added Andrew. It would make a real difference to make it more modern and up-to-date.”
