The focus of our Brussels 20km (12.4miles!) for this year – to buy the land and build the school the children from the slums of Nairobi really need to excel and achieve their dreams.

Thanks to your generous support, children are sponsored and able to attend two fantastic primary schools, the secondary school -Giraffe Education Center (GEC) - and a growing college program. The Giraffe Project provides a special learning environment that children from the slums need to break the poverty cycle and in turn help others to do the same.

A few years ago we urgently needed to move the GEC secondary school, finding a small site able to provide accommodation and schooling for about 80 students. The Giraffe Project is now expanding the site with two new classrooms. We'd also like to purchase an adjacent plot of land suitable for school expansion!
