Linx Cycle Challenge - St Ives to Evry, 27 May 2017
We are a lifesaving emergency service to the people in East Anglia

Story

The Linx cycle team are planning to cycle from Linx HQ  (St Ives) Cambridgeshire to our French office in Evry, Paris, all in the name of fitness and to raise money for the East Anglia Air Ambulance.

To find out more and keep up to date with the teams progress, please visit our blog: https://linxcyclechallenge.wordpress.com/

The team has a mixed bag of cycling experience, some have years of cycling experience, others have bought their first bike in years specifically for this event!

The Peleton will leave Linx HQ (St. Ives) on Friday 27th May.

Cycling over 260 miles over 3 consecutive days to reach our final destination in Evry on Monday, hopefully in time for a spot of lunch and much celebration closely followed by sleep.

Our intrepid team members include:

Chris Dove (new bike, chatty, could do better)
Jason Rothwell (old ish bike, not too fast)
John Tierney (Fast Bike, too fast,  too healthy, Booze?)
Mark Spedding (new bike not allowed in rain, snow, wind, direct sunlight)
Padraig Finn (new bike, b’jesus it’ll be a dodle, shiny)
Paul Gregory (light, old hat, finds long rides too easy)
Tom Waughman (new bike, chatty, could do better…)
Wayne Gimblett(too fast, too healthy)
Malgorzata Gorecka-Kozubal (new bike, very keen cyclist)
Slawomir Kozubal (hardcore cyclist, just recovered from injury)

Plus supporting Vehicle driver Luke Fairhead (lazy non cyclist we could not do this without)
