Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So on the 21st August I'm taking part in the Sodbury Sportive, the 60 mile route (well 63.3 to be exact). I'm not just doing this for the challenge but to raise money for charity in memory of an incredibly special lady - Nanna Rit, who sadly left us in January this year.

For 8 years Nan was under the care of 'Bright Renal Unit' at Southmead Hospital, having dialysis 3 times a week. The care she received there was second to none, so I would like to raise as much money as possible to show my appreciation for all their hard work, care and support.

For anyone who knew my Nan I'm sure you would agree that she was an absolute ledge! She was one massive character with a heart of gold who was (and still is) thought of and loved immensely by all the family. Even though I miss her so so much I know that she'll be following me along the course and her spirit will push me on!!

This is for you Queen Rit, my angel : ) x x x
