Some of you may know that I'm a volunteer for Severn Area
Rescue Association – an Inshore Rescue boat and Land Search organisation covering the Severn Estuary and the surrounding area. We assist the Coast Guard, Police, Fire and Ambulance Services with searching for missing persons, rescuing those in trouble on the river, and helping in the community following emergency events like flooding.

We are 100% volunteers – all crew, station management and of
course we are responsible for fundraising, which is where you come in! Your money could go towards vital gear we need such as radios, lamps or PPE, or perhaps towards our ongoing costs like fuel and communications – all of which we need in order just to leave the station.
