I had this 'great' idea last year of deciding I'd complete a marathon in 2016. So I entered this marathon to give myself a challenge & goodness what a challenge this is going to be!

This will be my first marathon and I only completed by first half marathon in October 2015. I'm not quick & it won't be pretty, however my aim is to complete the course and do the best that I can whilst raising funds for Breast Friends, a local charity.

I have various family members who have cancer and I know that having the support and practical assistance means a lot when your life has been turned upside down, which is what Breast Friends provide.

Therefore I would appreciate any donation however small to this very worthy cause.
