There are currently about 13 million people living below the food line in the UK alone. Colchester Food Bank are a local charity that are one of many charities in the UK trying to stop hunger nationwide. 

So, 16 of our lovely girls from the Essex Blades Netball Club are taking part in the 'Living Below The Line' challenge (alongside other people from the uni). This is where we live off of £1 a day, for 5 consecutive days! This includes all food and drink for the week (even alcohol), so there will be no such thing as luxuries during this week! During these 5 days we will all be carrying out our normal daily routines, but most importantly we will be collecting food, and raising money for the life changing charity that is Colchester Food Bank. We will all be doing this very very HUNGRY!!

Keep updated using our hashtag #giveitfood2015 where we will be making short videos and taking pictures throughout the week of what food we buy, and how hungry we are etc.
