We fund medical research and treatments to end Neuroblastoma

Story

This year Bronwen Powell, Liz Delves and Grace BT have been lucky enough to join Jack's Pack, and the three of us need your sponsorship to make our half marathon challenge happen!

On May 19th 2016 'Jack's PACK' - Police Against Cancer in Kids - will once again fly to New York to take part in its annual fund raiser. Set up in memory of 7 year-old Jack Brown, jack.org (Joining Against Cancer in Kids) is a registered charity that helps children with the childhood cancer neuroblastoma. Jack's PACK is the charity's biggest fund raising Team. All monies raised assist the costs of sending children abroad to receive potentially life saving treatment and also to further research into this terrible disease. And so 90 members of the Met, Essex and the British Transport Police will complete a half marathon in uniform from the waist up and then take part in a Plane Pull at John F Kennedy Airport. The Pack will pull a JetBlue Airways Airbus A320 against members of U.S. law enforcement, Military and Airport agencies including Teams from New York New Jersey Ports Authority Police, Jet Blue, British Airways and the NY State Troopers. All the officers pay for the trip themselves and all monies raised will go to our charity.

Worthy of note... none of us have run further than 10k before so please dig deep to encourage some extra running training!
