Dear friends & family,

As some of you know, I have a big birthday looming later this year and need something fantastic to take my mind off it! 

So, I've decided to use my 50th to fundraise for a brilliant charity whose work is really close to my heart. 

Salusbury World is the UK's only refugee centre based in a school (the one Ella & Jake used to go to in London) and it helps children and families via after-school clubs, advice & advocacy, training and lots more.(See https://www.facebook.com/salusburyworld)

The current refugee crisis means that Salusbury World is more in demand than ever before. Extra funding will help it to support families in need, and to share its knowledge with other organisations across the UK welcoming refugees. 

I've seen up close the huge difference that this small charity makes each day. Honestly, the best possible birthday present would be a donation to support this vital work.
